MERMAID TAIL  CH 6, join ,  Row 1: ch 3, make 11 dc in ring, join with sl st to top of beginning ch 3. (12 dc) Row 2: ch 3, 1 dc in same st, 2 dc in each st  all around, end with sl st to top of beginning ch 3. (24 dc) Row 3: Ch 3, *1 dc in  the next  st, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 dc in the next st, repeat to end, join in the top of the beginning ch 3. INCREASE ROWS: Rows 4 - 15: repeat Row 3, but increasing the dc's (for example this row 4 will be, *1 dc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st, etc., and Row 5 will be , 1 dc in each of the next 3 sts, (so in essence you are increasing by 1 on each row. Row 15 you should have a total of 128 sts. Round 16 - ch 3, 1 dc in each st all around, join with sl st to top of beginning ch 3. Rounds 17 - 33: Repeat Round 16.   Rounds 34 -   53: For these Rounds  do not join, we will leave this opening all the way until the project is completed (this will be an open slit).  Round
