3 HOUR QUICK AND EASY BABY BLANKET - BEGINNER FRIENDLY - TUTORIAL

FOR MY LARGE BLANKET I CROCHETED 111 chains
BLANKET measures 26" x 33"
I used 5:00 mm crochet hook for the body of the blanket and 4:00 mm crochet hook for the edging
THIS IS A ONE ROW REPEAT PATTERN
Row 1: ch 111, sl st in 2 ch from hook, hdc in next st, sl st in next st, hdc in next st, repeat, ending with hdc in last st, ch 1 turn
Row 2:sl st in first st, hdc in next st, sl st, in next st, hdc in next st, repeat ending with hdc in last st, ch 1 turn,
Repeat Row 2 for the length of your project.
EDGING - DO NOT CUT YARN
Row 1: sc, ch 2, sc in same place, (first corner st worked), sc in each st all around, ( FOR EVERY CORNER STITCH, WORK, sc, ch 2, sc ), end with sl st to first sc
change color
Rows 2 : sl st into ch 2 space, sc, ch 2 sc, (corner st worked), sc in each st all around, (working sc, ch2 sc, in each corner st), end with sl st to first sc
Rows 3 to 4: REPEAT ROW 2 (change colors accordingly)
Row 5: sl st into ch 2 space, sc, ch 2 sc (corner st worked), ch 1, sc in next st, ch 1, sc in next st, repeat all around, (putting sc, ch 2, sc) in each corner. cut yarn and weave in any loose ends.
