LARGE DOUBLE ROSE ch 4, 8 dc in 1st ch, ch1 turn, Round 1: sc in same place, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, 3 dc in next 2 dc, 1 dc in next 2 dc, 1dc & 1sc in last st, ch 1, turn Round 2: dc in same st, 1 tr in the next 4 dc, 3 tr n each of the next 4 dc, 1 tr in each of the next 4 dc, 1 dc in last st, ch 1 turn Round 3: dc in same place, 1 tr in each of the next 7 dc, 3 tr in next 6 dc, 1 tr in each of the next 7 tr, dc in last st.. ROSE STEM ch 6, join with sl st. Round 1. Ch3, (ch 3 counts as a dc); make 13 more dc in ring , join with sl st to top of beginningch3; (you should have 14 dc). Round 2. Ch 3, *dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, *repeat to end, join with sl st to beg chain 3. (You should have 22 dc) Round 3 (making the petals) ch 1, sc in same place, sc in next 3 sts, ch 1, turn, *sc in each of 4 sc, ch 1 turn, repeat 3 more times, dec2sctog twice, (2 sc on this row), ch 1 turn, dec2sctog; now work down the side of the stem making 7 sc evenly spaced, first petal made; sc in each of the next 4 sts, and *repeat from. Repeat for the other 3 petals. You should have 5 petals, and 1 st remaining, sl st in that st. Now watch the video to see how I attach the stem to the rose.
