BABY BLANKET WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS
ABBREVIATIONS:
dc - double crochet
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
fpdc- front post double crochet
beg - beginning
crab stitch or backward single crochet: watch video
Hook size 5.00 mm
Yarn - Chroma #4 worsted weight, GoGo Boots & Cousteau
Ch 3 counts as a dc.
Row 1 - Ch 83, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each st to end, ch 3 turn
Row 2- dc in next dc, dc in each st to end, sl st in top of beg ch 3, ch 3 turn
Row 3 - dc in next dc, fpdc around the dc below the dc just made, sk next dc, dc in next st, fpdc around the dc below, repeat to the end, dc in top of turning ch 3, ch 1 turn
Row 4 - Working in back loops, sc in same place, sl st in next st, sl st in next st, repeat to end , sc in last st, ch 1 turn
Row5 - Still working in back loops, sc in same place , sc in each st to end , ch 1 turn
Row 6- Still working in back loops, sc in same place, sc in next st, repeat to end, ch 3 turn
Row 7 - dc in next dc, dc in next st, repeat to the end, ch 3 turn

Edging
Row 1: ch 2, 2 sc in same place, 1 sc in each st around, (putting 3 sc in each corner st); end with sl st in beginning ch 2. DO NOT TURN
CRAB STITCH/BACKWARD SINGLE CROCHET
Row 2 : work crab STITCH all around (watch video for guidance). FASTEN OFF
